Biography
Councilman Trumbo was elected to the council effective January 2014. His priorities are to ensure open and accountable government, growing industrial development, revitalizing the riverfront and downtown Kennewick and addressing issues that affect the oldest and historic areas of the city. As a retired journalist, he advocates public involvement in, and knowledge about, local government.

Councilman Trumbo is currently serving on the Benton Franklin Housing Continuum of Care Committee, Joint City of Kennewick & City of Richland Council Committee, Kennewick FOCUS Committee, Yakima Basin Fish and Wildlife Recovery Board and Infrastructure and Operations Committee He also is an alternate on the Benton County Clean Air Authority, Benton Franklin Community Action Committee, Benton Franklin Council of Governments.
