Special Events Advertising Assistance - Port of Kennewick

  2. Tenant businesses of the Columbia Gardens Urban Wine and Artisan Village are eligible to receive marketing assistance through a joint Port and City vibrancy program. Eligible applicants must market Columbia Gardens Urban Wine and Artisan Village in their advertising/promotional materials in tandem with events offered by tenant businesses in the area. All applications must be received no later than 5 business days prior to a proposed event, and all applicants must receive prior approval for the slate of estimated expenditures. Funding shall not exceed $1,000 per event inclusive of all applicants for the same event, and is dependent on the quality of the application and the Port's available funds.

  4. Funds received from this program can only be used for events open to the public. To encourage broad public outreach and engagement, member pre-sale tickets cannot be sold to events using these marketing dollars.
  5. Please note that projects requiring a Special Event Permit must have submitted a Special Event Application 15 days prior to the proposed event, and projects requiring a public road closure must submit an application 30 days prior to the proposed event.   7. Partnering with neighboring Columbia Gardens businesses is an important component of this program. Events with three or more Columbia Gardens tenants participating will be eligible for full funding.
  8. At a minimum, description should include the name of the event, impacts to common areas, necessary road/route/walkway closures, a list of participating businesses that are from outside Columbia Gardens and not listed above.

  13. Electronic Signature Agreement*
    All parties (Port of Kennewick, City of Kennewick and Event organizer) shall indemnify, defend, protect, hold harmless, and release the other, its officers, agents, and employees, from and against any and all claims, loss, proceedings, damages, causes of action, liability, costs or expense (including attorneys’ fees and witness costs) arising from or in connection with or caused by any act, omission, or negligence of such indemnifying party; and in the event of a breach of this Agreement, the non-breaching Party shall retain all legal and equitable remedies against the breaching Party. By checking the "I agree" box below, you agree and acknowledge that 1) your application will not be signed in the sense of a traditional paper document, 2) by signing in this alternate manner, you authorize your electronic signature to be valid and binding upon you to the same force and effect as a handwritten signature, and 3) you may still be required to provide a traditional signature at a later date.
