Mr. Trumbo was elected to the council effective January 2014. His priorities are to ensure open and accountable government, growing industrial development, revitalizing the riverfront and downtown Kennewick and addressing issues that affect the oldest and historic areas of the city. As a retired journalist, he advocates public involvement in, and knowledge about, local government.
Boards and Commissions
Mr. Trumbo currently serves on the Benton County Law and Justice Council, Benton Franklin Community Action Committee, Joint Coliseum Advisory Committee, and the Tri-Cities Regional Public Facilities District. He also serves as alternate on the Ben Franklin Transit Board, Benton Franklin Council of Governments, and the Historic Downtown Kennewick Board.
