Step 2: Plans Review & Approval

What Happens After I Submit My Plans?

Because the majority of review takes place at the site plan stage, building and civil construction plan review takes a fraction of the time. When plans are submitted, building plans are reviewed by the Building Safety Division and the Fire Department. Once the plans are reviewed you will be notified of any changes that need to be made. You will then be responsible for addressing the comments and resubmitting revised plans, as needed.

Once all comments are addressed, final fees will be calculated and the project paperwork will be prepared for permit issuance.
