Washington Corridor (P1918-21)

Project Description

This project is for the narrowing of a portion of N. Washington Street from Kennewick Avenue to Canal Drive, adding landscape planters, replacing and widening sidewalks from Kennewick Avenue to Columbia Drive.  Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, installation of pedestrian ramps, sidewalks, irrigation, street and pedestrian lighting, striping improvements, and other related work.

The contractor is performing work on both sides of Washington St. between Kennewick Ave. and Columbia Dr. On the west side, the contractor is replacing sidewalk between Kennewick Ave. and Canal Dr. Once sidewalk is complete, then the contractor will begin installation of irrigation, landscaping, and lighting. On the east side, the contractor is performing demolition work on the existing facilities as well as initial installation of lighting and irrigation facilities. The contractor will then begin installation of curb, gutter and sidewalk around the third week in July.
